Ultima Wafer Discount
See what's possible with Ultima Genomics' groundbreaking flowcell-free sequencing capabilities! Get Ultima 10B wafers for $3,399 per wafer through December 31, 2025. This service includes sequencing, basic data delivery, demultiplexing, and FASTQ/CRAM file delivery.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Available in the US & Canada only. RUO. Promotion applies only to samples received by December 31, 2025. Expected TAT is 1-2 weeks, calculated from the time of library QC confirmation. If QC results do not meet internal standards, sequencing will proceed only after customer approval, and TAT will begin from that approval date. Psomagen is not responsible for data delivery delays caused by incomplete or incorrect index information provided by the customer. While Psomagen ensures sequencing quality, it does not guarantee outcomes for customer-prepared libraries, and results will be delivered as-is unless a significant technical fault is confirmed. Not valid with other promotions.
How Does It Measure Up?
Our labs have conducted concordance testing on the UG 100 for several applications — take a look at the data and see for yourself!
Comparison of Illumina and Ultima Sequencing Platforms for Olink Explore HT Libraries
This white paper assessed the efficiency and accuracy of the UG 100 in running Olink Proteomics projects. To test this, our lab sequenced the same four Explore HT libraries on the UG 100 and on the NovaSeq X Plus.
Our bioinformatics team then compared the runs on Illumina and Ultima instruments. Results showed:
-
Comparable distribution of total counts per sample
-
Comparable distribution of total counts per platform
-
Strong correlation between samples
-
High reproducibility between platforms
-
Consistent protein abundance across runs
-
Sequencing batch effects successfully removed via bridging
Comparison of Illumina and Ultima Sequencing Platforms for 10x Genomics Single-Cell RNA Sequencing
In this test, our labs ran a 3’ library of 20 human brain samples, and a 5’ library of 10 human PBMC samples on Illumina and Ultima instruments. Our bioinformatics team then reviewed the results, and concluded that:
-
After cellranger analysis, Illumina and Ultima sequencing depths are comparable.
-
Lower Q scores observed in Ultima libraries are not indicative of poorer data quality.
-
3’ GEX cell clustering is consistent across platforms without batch correction.
-
5’ GEX cell clustering is also consistent across platforms, after correcting for batch effects.
